A new beer garden is upon us – and this time you don’t have to leave your beloved borough of Manhattan to get to it. The Standard Beer Garden – yes, as in the new Standard Hotel slash Bar and Grill, below the Highline – is now open(kinda.) You are more than welcome to go but as of now its only bottled beer. Draft beer and wieners are coming soon – as well as table side keg service. The Standard Beer Garden comes complete with ping pong tables, although there are signs that the playing of ‘beer pong’ is forbidden,. But we all know rules are meant to be broken.
