Last night at Mr. West was sick per usual. My friends and I roll up around 11:15 and the People Magazine Music Lounge party for Katy Perry’s new video release, Waking Up in Vegas, was just wrapping up. The party was complete with performers from Beachers Madhouse and a “mini” Katy Perry.

The DJ was kinda whack and I was anxiously awaiting for the Chainsmokers to man the tables. And once they did, the party really started heating up. Everyone was getting wild, and the place was slowly getting more and more crowded. By time DJ Messkid took the stage, the place was jam packed and everyone was dancing their asses off. Around 1:00, Katy Perry comes back, this time with her on again/off again – currently on – boyfriend, Travis McCoy, and her new BFF Rihanna. Katy was wearing a gold flapper dress and silver Loubs, Rihanna was wearing a funky white pants suit and a low cut animal print shirt. DJ Messkid kept the party going with his psychedelic electro mashups and good times were had by all! Katy and Rihanna even jumped up in the banquette and started dancing when “Umbrella” came on. Unfortunately, my ass had to go home before Mr. Vega came on (I dont even know if he showed because I think MSB MSB MSB was going on after Messkid) but overall had a great night!
