Since the Dream Downtown opened there has been a lot of speculation regarding Nur Khan’s new, uber-exclusive spot, Electric Room. The club was set to take up shop in the basement of the hotel with a capacity of only around 100, and after much anticipation it had its soft opening last night following the 10th Anniversary party for One Model Management.

Getting things started just in time for Fashion Week, the club attracted a VIP crowd of celebrities and models. Khan is no stranger to throwing crazy NYFW parties, as his now shuttered club Don Hills (RIP) was the jump off last year, but it will be interesting to see how these parties will compare.

Regardless, Khan knows what he’s doing and while Electric Room might not be working the hipster/gritty vibe of Don Hills (it’s got a Britannia theme) I think this is going to be THE spot to see and be seen during this NYFW.
